I had to share this amazing LinkedIn post from a man who I have known and respected for many years, Ray Neve.
Chef Ray Neve. Ray had the pleasure of working with me at Mosimann’s private members club back in the 80’s, we had some great fun together and of course a few arguments, but we always took time to have lunch together in his office over looking the kitchen to discuss the day ahead, Ray then went on to become Chef Patron of the Wharf in Teddington where I enjoyed Rays cooking for many years, but have a look at Rays Post below..
“After 18 great years leading the Wharf in Teddington, it with sadness that I exit a business I proudly created. I would like to express how grateful I am to family, friends, loyal customers, suppliers and last but not least, my amazing team, who will no doubt continue to uphold our shared values and standards of quality.
Everything comes to an end but after sadness comes rejoicing. And it is with an open heart and mind that I look forward to adding value to other people’s businesses”
Ray has some amazing experience having worked in some of the finest restaurants & hotels in Europe including, The Dorchester, Freres Troisgros, Le Negresco in Nice and the Ritz in Paris to name a few.
Ray, it is great to have our friendship after all these years, thanks for all the fun we had together and best wishes for this new chapter in your career!
