The Hoop in Stock, Essex is run by Phil and Michelle. Both classically trained under top London chef Paul Gayler at The Lanesborough Hotel, (which is also where they met and their love story began!)
I was the Restaurant Manger at the time Phil was learning his trade and you could see already the desire he had to succeed, and that Michelle had her eye on him! Together they took over The Hoop in November 2006 and the have not looked back.
So now we are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join Phil and his team and go for the 2nd rosette.
Someone who has for sure a passion for food and consistency but someone with energy that can work on all aspects of the menu including growing the bakery and the outside cooking and pizza section.
