Just recently opened on Charring Cross road by my good friends Alessandro Piombino and Riccardo Andreotti, a great place to meet friends, a drink before theatre or just to taste the delicious Sicilian delicacies.
Baaria is inspired by Alessandro’s family business – Il Fagottino; a Sicilian street food café where the adventure started in 1990. Il Fagottino became an obligatory stop on the Bagherese nightlife scene and after more than 30 years it is still a key meeting point for the next generation of families and young people. The name ‘Baaria’ is thus derived from the small town in Palermo – Bagheria – where Alessandro’s interest in hospitality, food and drink originated.
Have a look at the website and read more about the history of BAARIA, see you there for a ristretto and a cannolo
