Bleeding Heart has returned back to its roots and re-opened it’s famous Bar & Grill which popped its first cork in 1983 when the house claret was 95p a glass, and Champagne was 3.95 (those days have changed) – and there was a Concert Grand Piano in the corner.

Robert & Robyn the owners of the Bleeding Heart since 1983 also host amazing events throughout the year in particular the monthly the magnum wine club, the next evening is on the 10th of July, a fabulous Champagne feast, with Join Xavier Gaulthier of Champagne Piper-Heidsieck a Champagne aperitif will be served in the secret garden at the crypt, followed bya five course feast with  five champagnes and wines in the magnificent surroundings of the medieval Crypt.

Champagne Piper Heidsieck was the favoured bubble of a range of diverse celebrities from Marie-Antoinette to Charlie Chaplin to Marilyn Monroe, who confessed she started every day with a chilled glass of Piper-Heidsieck for breakfast.
